Our Adult Summer Camp offers three sessions specifically designed for adult musicians who want to enhance their music theory knowledge and overall musicianship. The goals of these sessions are to help you gain a strong foundational understanding of sheet music, reduce any apprehension when encountering new musical pieces, explore musical concepts through various examples, and establish an effective practice routine for the summer and beyond. This course is suitable for any adult with a basic understanding of their instrument who wishes to learn more about how music functions in group settings, how to approach and play unfamiliar sheet music, or how to adapt to playing in different keys with other musicians. Please note that instruction will not focus on how to play your instrument. Participants should already have a fundamental ability to play or create sound on their chosen instrument.
