Hello! My name is James Hanly
I am currently studying for my BA (Hons) in music, I specialise in Jazz guitar but I play everything from Blues, Rock, Country, Pop and RnB/Soul. I started playing guitar when I was 7 years old and became obsessed with music!
Some of my biggest influences in music are Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, George Benson and many more!
I feel music should be for everyone and I want to make it as fun and interesting as I found it growing up! I would love to teach students great foundational knowledge that will stand to all walks of music. I want students to enjoy their lessons whilst boosting their potential on the guitar. I will hone in on a student's skill, technique, theory but most importantly passion! Passion is why I am here and I want it to be why you are here too!
